The OAE screening test was inaugurated at Kannagi Nagar UCHC Centre with Chief Guest Dr. Banumathy, City Medical Officer, and Guests of Honour including Dr. Karpagam, Mr. Marisamy, Ms. Eyalarasi, Ms. Manjula, Ms. Pavithra, and Ms. Deepa Murali. The program began with an awareness session on OAE screening for newborn mothers by Pavithra (MERF). Screening was conducted for 5 newborns at UCHC, Kannagi Nagar.
